What to do if...

You have a problem.	Contact the staff member most closely involved with the problem.
You want to talk to your child's teachers.	Call the DMS Guidance Office 989-2079 to set up a meeting. Each team meets daily.
You change your address or phone number	Contact the office. 989-2040
You plan to move	Notify the school office so the proper transfer papers can be made. 989-2040
Your child is late	Student must bring a note explaining the reason for being late.
Your child cannot participate in gym class	Send a note with the child to the nurse. The note must be from a parent/guardian and/or doctor. The nurse will issue the excuse from gym.
Your child will be absent	Call the school secretary at 973-989-2040 to report the absence.
Your child requires extended absence	Contact your child's guidance counselor at 973-989-2079 and explain the situation.
