students in grades 4-8 learn to write newspaper articles with help from
writers from Scholastic's magazine group. Students read sample articles and
get writing tips and techniques to help them determine a topic and develop
their own news stories. The Scholastic writers also give students guidelines

ideas about writing news stories. Upon completion of the activity, students
can publish their work online and print out Certificates of Achievement.
