Hurrah! Our Media Center is fully automated. Students have their own barcode numbers for checking out books. They may check the catalog from any computer at school or outside the school. Just log on to the DMS web site and select the catalog from the Resources list at the left of the home page. Or click here.

The Library Media Center serves both Dover Middle School and East Dover Elementary School. Our collection spans all eight grade levels. This means that students will find helpful reading materials no matter what their reading ability and interests. There are books to challenge the very best readers and simpler, more pictorial books that are excellent introductory materials for students who wish to learn basic information about topics new to them.

Students receive class and individual instruction in research and information skills as well as guidance in locating appropriate leisure and curriculum-related reading materials.

Our collection includes

	Books for reference and borrowing
	Magazines
	Videos
	Audio tapes
	Computers--Internet connection, CD-ROM, word processing
	VCR's, other audiovisual hardware for Media Center and classroom use
	Video camcorders, other taping equipment
